It's been a miserable, grey and wet ay today - so what better excuse than to curl up with an epsiode of Leverage?

Today we're watching and commenting about season 1 episode 9, The Stork Job (remember we're watching in the intended order not the aired order). Expect spoilers for episode 1 - 8 in the comments.

If you want to comment about anything that happens in later episodes, please use rot13 to encode your comment, so anyone trying to avoid spoilers can do so. And yes, there are some people here watching for the first time!

Not sure what to comment about? How about your favourite scene? Your favourite character so far? What surprised you? Did any of the things said resonate with you? How about setting or design choices?

And don't forget about our fic prompt post if anything strikes inspiration! We also welcome icons, banners and other graphics for those who are visually artistically inclined (or point us to people making them).

If you're willing to host or post a weekly discussion post, please leave a comment on the schedule and say which one!

See you all in the comments in a wee while *G*

I always sort of forget how delightful the movie bits of this are.

I love how this one gets into showing us how they can do the other roles, and how they're starting to trust the coaching in a particualar way.

(And Hardison and Parker talking about their pasts, and him understanding, and just being right there for her even when she doesn't know it never gets old.)

This one is tough for me to watch, although apparently the orphanage parts are based on real-life ones.

The fake movie was also based on the cast and crew's personal experiences and I loved it.

Parker stabbing a man, yes. Hardison drinking European orange soda, double yes.

As much as I love to see Eliot fight, I loved the scene where he comes out of the warehouse and you didn't see any of the fight.
